Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

Entry into the prize draw is determined by the completion of the 2020 Regional Wellbeing Survey between August 3rd and October 30th 2020. Everyone aged 18 or older who completes the survey either online by going to www.regionalwellbeing.org.au or returns a completed paper survey will be eligible to enter the draw to win prizes in (i) weekly, and (ii) an overall prize draw, as follows:

  • Weekly prize draws: Drawn 2pm every Monday from August 17th to October 26th 2020 (with the exception of one draw on Tuesday October 6th). There are 11 draws in total. All those who have completed the 2020 Regional Wellbeing Survey at any point between August 3rd 2020 and 5pm the previous Friday of each draw are eligible for entry into the weekly prize draws (excluding previous weekly winners). One winner will be selected randomly each week. Winners will have their choice of a WISH, Coles-Myer, Bunnings or Flight Centre gift card to the value of $200, or to donate their winning value of $200 to Australian Red Cross, Blaze Aid, WIRES or a charity of choice (limited to organisations formally registered as charities).
  • Grand prize draw: Drawn 2pm November 4th 2020. All those who have completed the 2020 Regional Wellbeing Survey at any point between August 3rd and 11.59pm on October 30th 2020 are eligible for entry into the grand prize draw for one of 18 prizes to the total prize pool value of $7000. Winners will have their choice of a WISH, Coles-Myer, Bunnings or Flight Centre gift card, or to donate their winning value to Australian Red Cross, Blaze Aid, WIRES or a charity of choice (limited to organisations formally registered as charities): First prize: $2000; second prize: $1000; third to eighth prize: $500; 10 runner-up prizes of $100.

All prizes will be drawn at the Health Research Institute, Building 23, University Drive South, Bruce, ACT, 2617. The winner will be notified in writing, by email or phone, within two working days of the prize draw and listed on www.regionalwellbeing.org.au. All prizewinners will be listed in The Advertiser newspaper on November 13th 2020. The minimum age of prize draw participants is 18 years. Survey promoter: University of Canberra. Any prize redraw will occur at 2pm at least 3 months after the original draw is advertised so as to give winners sufficient time to collect their prize (weekly redraws will take place on 23rd, 30th November, 7th , 14th, 21st December 2020, 11th, 18th, 25th January, and 1st, 8th and 15th February 2021; and grand prize redraw on 1st March 2021), at the same location as the original draw, with all winners of redraws notified by email or phone within two working days of the draw and listed on www.regionalwellbeing.org.au within two working days of the redraw. All winners of redraws, if any redraws are necessary, will be listed in The Advertiser newspaper 15th February 2021.
